At the time, she had just moved from California to Las Vegas after selling her half of a women’s and children’s boutique she co-owned. With a background in entrepreneurship and a lifelong drive to build something meaningful, she found herself drawn to Pilates.
After one session, she was hooked. She enrolled in a 450-hour certification program at Pilates + Yoga in Las Vegas, became nationally certified through the National Pilates Certification Program, and later worked as an instructor and manager before purchasing the studio in 2023.
At this time, something was shifting in the industry. And not for the better.
Studios were popping up everywhere. Rooms were getting more crowded. Instructors were being hired without proper certifications. Classes started feeling more like a trend than a practice.
And Kim wanted something different — a space where students felt seen, instructors knew their names, and the focus was on lasting results. That’s why she opened The Pilates Suite.
The Pilates Suite isn’t a drop-in, keep-up, figure-it-out kind of studio. Every session is intentional and meets you where you are.
Our reformer classes hold a maximum of six clients. Cadillac classes hold four. These small sizes aren’t a coincidence — they’re the foundation of everything we do. Intimate classes allow instructors to give real attention, offer hands-on corrections, and adjust each session as needed.
Our instructors hold 450 to 500-hour comprehensive certifications and bring years of experience working with clients of all levels, backgrounds, and needs. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing a chronic condition, or simply looking to move better and feel stronger — you’ll be in expert hands here.
If you’re looking for a Pilates studio in Las Vegas that values quality over crowds, you’ll find it at The Pilates Suite.
Kim Tuthill is a certified Pilates instructor with over 600 hours of comprehensive training, became accredited through the National Pilates Certification Program and has years of experience teaching and leading in the Las Vegas Pilates community.
She opened The Pilates Suite after recognizing a gap in the market. Accomplished, active women who wanted expert, personalized instruction in an intimate setting couldn’t find it. Big group classes felt impersonal, and trendy studios felt misaligned.
Kim’s approach to Pilates is rooted in precision, care, and long-term results. She believes every student deserves to feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for — and she built a team that shares that same belief.
The instructors at The Pilates Suite bring a combined wealth of experience, credentials, and passion for movement. Many come from professional dance backgrounds, and all hold comprehensive Pilates certifications. Every instructor was chosen not just for their training, but for their ability to connect with you and deliver a truly personalized experience.
